If nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium feedstock or organic fertilizer base material carries moisture beyond the process adaptation range, the dispersing and moisture-proof effects of the additive will be weakened and cannot counteract stickiness brought by high humidity.
Besides, improper additive selection may also trigger stickiness. Different fertilizer types match different additive formulations. Formulations for organic fertilizer, compound fertilizer and water-soluble fertilizer differ greatly. If additives designed for high-viscosity granulation are mistakenly used in ordinary granular fertilizer production, finished products will show surface stickiness.
