
Commercially available standard Foundry Coating Binder delivers excellent stirrability with simple operation, fully adapting to conventional equipment and workflows in foundry workshops, which serves as a fundamental characteristic for mass industrial production. Mainstream water-based Foundry Coating Binder is prepared as homogeneous fluid with low to medium viscosity before delivery, offering outstanding fluidity without lumps or hard masses. It can be evenly mixed rapidly without high-power professional stirring equipment.
Freshly manufactured binder stored for a short time maintains a stable homogeneous system without obvious sediment or delamination. Homogenization can be completed rapidly using manual stirring rods or low-speed small electric stirrers. When preparing coating slurry with foundry coatings, add Foundry Coating Binder proportionally and stir at low speed for 2 to 5 minutes to achieve full integration and form delicate uniform coating slurry. The stirring process brings little resistance without particles or agglomeration, ensuring high construction convenience.
For Foundry Coating Binder with delamination after long-term storage, stirring difficulty rises moderately, yet it remains easy to stir. After long static placement, dense filler sediment accumulates at the bottom while dilute clear liquid stays on the upper layer. Sediments generate slight resistance during initial stirring and cannot be dissolved instantly. Operators only need to break bottom sediment via low-speed stirring first, followed by uniform overall stirring for 1 to 5 minutes. The layered system can be fully blended into homogeneous liquid without residual hard blocks or uneven texture.
A small number of high-solid-content and high-viscosity Foundry Coating Binder customized for special working conditions has slightly higher stirring resistance than ordinary variants, yet it still possesses favorable stirrability. Operators merely need to extend stirring time appropriately or adopt medium-speed stirring devices. It should be noted that prolonged storage and failed sealing may lead to severe hardening, air-dried lumps and increased stirring difficulty. Such deteriorated materials cannot be fully homogenized and should be discarded directly. Properly sealed qualified products maintain good stirrability consistently and satisfy daily workshop production requirements without efficiency losses caused by stirring problems.
